While we generally approve of yogurt, we should say that not all yogurts are made equally. Specifically, avoid yogurts with artificial sugar or added sugar; this might outweigh a few of the useful effects that yogurt can have. If you do buy yogurt, consider buying a kind that comes with lower quantities of sugar, such as Greek yogurt or plain yogurt.
